2012

Well does anyone even blog anymore?lol.... My usual blogs I check haven't been updated in months and I haven't updated mine since November 7th. I guess nothing exciting is going on! The holidays came and went to quickly, they were spent with family and friends! Lets just say i'm glad 2011 is over and so many fun events taking place in 2012 I just can't wait for it to come and go!!!

Some of the events taking place are:

Starting our new house! - Its been a roller coaster trying to get everything in place that I just want to scream and kick my feet on the ground, but each day we seem to get an inch closer to starting!

Warm Weather - I think is okay to say that today since it was only 17 degrees this morning when I got to work!!

Lake Powell - The Haaga's go every year and well I dont know if i'm looking forward to it since we should be almost done with our house around that time or because I really just love going?

My BFFF is getting married - I couldn't be more happier for her! Plus, now we can have babies together! ;)

Moving into our new home - It's been an adjustment living w/ my family and even though we have only been there for 2 months, i'm missing having my own place!

Cruise with our friends! - We've talked about it for months, but haven't booked it, so I hope it really happens.

2nd Anniversary - Always going to look forward to that & doing something really fun w/ each other! Maybe a nice vacation on the beach would be wonderful!

Bring on 2012!

Sold!

That's right we sold our home! (*tear*) Its a little bitter sweet, but of course! Why wouldn't it be? It was our first home together that we built and love it to pieces!! We decided to sale it back in April and build our second home. Ever since April we have been trying to find the perfect floor plan the perfect neighborhood, etc... Which by the way the perfect floor plan doesn't exist and the perfect neighborhood has yet to be found!

It took a much longer to sale our home than anticipated and actually we were just about to take it off the market and finish our basement and back yard this upcoming year. We were getting excited to plan out our basement and get things started with-in weeks of it selling. If I would of known we just had to plan our basement out in order for it to sale I would of done that a few months ago!

This past week we have been trying to tie down a lot for our new home and that is exhausting! We thought about living in a really nice neighborhood in Bluffdale, but I wasn't set on it. It seemed to far away from my mom! ha ha! Next we found a lot not to far away from where we live now, but of course there was a reason it had been sitting for so long. The city wont let anyone build on it! :(... Next we found another lot that we really liked and wanted it fairly bad, but the guy selling it wanted an outrageous price for it. And now, we are currently trying to tie down a lot in our current neighborhood! Which in the end i'm perfectly fine. Its a nice neighborhood, I like the location of it and i'm only 3.5 miles away from my mom!

We will be moving out of our home in 11 days! I'm OK so far this is what we wanted we for sure wanted to sale and build our next home before we start a family and we are doing that! But i'm sure as we move everything out I will shed some tears!

A year down & Forever to go!!!

This past Friday marked our ONE year Anniversary! I can't believe how fast its gone...

I love being married to my best friend! We have had such an amazing year and I think its a perfect way to start out to a amazing life still to come!

To celebrate we went up to Park City and stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Thursday night.

We even got a free gift of sparkling orange drink from the hotel and a nice card for our Anniversary!

We tried our wedding cake top.... didn't keep to good.

Park City was so nice!

Friday we woke up had a delicious breakfast from the hotel and shopped at the outlets!

Friday Night!

We decided to go to a nice Dinner at Tuscany's were we had our luncheon on our wedding day and are going to continue to go there every anniversary and keep it a tradition!

Yes...i'm blogging about Diet Coke! That is how exciting my life is! :)

So today starts a new day- I'm going to 'try' once again to over come my addition to Diet Coke!

Its not going to be easy, but I did it at the beginning of this year for 3 months! Hopefully this time I can make it at least 4. We shall see...Wish me luck!

Where did it go?

Where has Summer gone?

I know its not over yet, and when it is i'm going to miss it like crazy!!

But for some strange reason I am more than happy to welcome FALL!

I've been on this fall craze for a few weeks as I walk into Hobby Lobby or Roberts and see all the fall decorations I just can't wait.

I can't wait to decorate our house and I plan on putting my cricut to use in making some fun crafts!

And of course, we can't forget all the fall clothes!

The Beginning!

So...we are currently in the process of landscaping our front yard!!

Its so much fun to go home from work and see how its changed! I'll post a finished photo as soon as its done!
